Mark from our office was lucky to combine a day surveying a Fisherman’s cottage in Kippford with a weekend sailing on the Solway. He was blessed with one glorious day and a fine starry night (courtesy of their dark sky policy). The next day was only fit for a muddy run through the woods, though a good haul of sloes, for sloe gin, was gathered.
