Ben was asked to give the annual Frank Tindall Memorial lecture at the Haddington & District Amenity Society’s AGM on the work of his parents.  This included the design of Peterlee New Town in Co. Durham, a radical design for the only new town requested by the community which was never realised as the whole design team, led by Bertold Lubetkin, resigned due to official corruption.  It also included stories of lots of picnics, gardens, trees and travel.
