LONDON CALLING
Architect Caroline Slater enjoyed a packed long weekend in London with her family, planned around a Sunday afternoon happily spent at the Palace Theatre watching the truly magical ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child‘. They enjoyed visiting a wide variety of places, including the London Science Museum to see Tim Peake’s Soyuz return capsule with its amazing parachute the size of two tennis courts, two wonderful exhibitions at the V&A on English Medieval embroidery and the Revolutionary period of 1966-70 which were accompanied by lunch in the beautiful Morris Room, finishing with a visit to the fascinating 20th Century Map exhibition at the British Library, before catching their trains home.
