Very sadly, Jim Lennie, the “Best Quantity Surveyor in the world”, died on Thursday 25th June 2015.  His Indicative Costs were unsurpassed for accuracy and his service for helpfulness.  He was the best mentor the Practice ever had.  He was also a delightful man with a lovely family.  Although most of his work was in the difficult field of historic buildings, perhaps his most influential work was assisting with the self-build Edinburgh Steiner Kindergarten where generations of children have benefited from his work.

His enthusiasm for life included cycling all over Scotland and abroad, walking likewise and beautiful and sensitive watercolours.

His funeral will be at 12.00 on Friday 3rd July at Binning Wood, East Linton.
