Ben Tindall and his wife recently returned from their annual trip to India.  Ben writes:

One of the wonders of India is how building conservation is built into their constitution, and another is how India reveres their British heritage; maybe this is mutual respect.

Ebba Koch, an Austrian Art Historian who wrote the new and incomparable book on the Taj Mahal has been commissioned to write one on the Red Fort too; this is wonderful news.
