Our neighbouring building across the terrace, 8-13 Johnston Terrace was once connected to our offices here at 17 Victoria Terrace by way of gangway.  Both premises were owned collectively by Alexander ‘sweetie Sandy’ Ferguson Limited, the famous inventor of ‘Edinburgh Castle Rock’.  Our office was used for storage; that must have been a lot of ‘rock’!
