Together with the engineer Frazer Coutts we discussed the design and approach for straightening the 150mm lean to a fragile wall of a derelict Cottage, which forms part of a C-listed Steading, in order to preserve its character and patina. The contractor, Campbell & Smith, has done a marvellous job jacking the wall.  We are now waiting for the opened up mortar joints to be packed & pointed before removing the supports. An up-date on the cottage will follow on our website in due course.
