Designing a major extension to an unspoilt Grade A Listed Building is not a simple task.  This was achieved by designing a glazed back porch to link in with existing sheds, and using these as a link to a low large building incorporated into an existing garden wall.  The new building provides a room larger than any in the original building, with a Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, etc. off it.  The new room provides a new focus for the garden and enjoys views on both sides.  Although of contemporary construction, the new room has walls with a feeling of thickness and a ceiling of interest.
