An Camas Mor, Aviemore

By 2027 An Camas Mor will be a complete 'new community in the Highlands' based around a traditionally planned spine-like central High Street.  It is situated in the Cairngorms National Park across the River Spey from Aviemore.

Closely developed with Gehl Architects of Copenhagen, the core design principle is to provide a 'good habitat for people' by concentrating on the concepts of Life, Space and Buildings to create a special place with housing, community and work space for all.  A low carbon footprint will be created by minimizing the need for motor transport and maximising local energy generation and solar gain.
